I grew up in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, thirty miles south of Nashville.  I began my dance career at the age of four under the instruction of Brenda Brunelle, at Dance Works in Murfreesboro. I joined their competition team at the age of 6 and competed with them for eight years. I then spent two years at the Dance Theatre of Tennessee to focus on ballet technique. During that time, I realized how much I missed being part of a team and found a home at Music City All Stars in Brentwood, Tennessee, under owners Kirstin Hawk and Valerie Reynolds and All Star Director, Andrea Goble.

During my time as an all star, my team and I were able to bring home numerous national championship titles and compete in the USASF Dance Worlds competition each year. I was most honored to be captain of the team my senior year when we placed seventh in the world in the senior jazz division. Through out high school I was able to receive the UDA All-American dancer my sophomore, junior, and twice my senior year, where I was fortunate enough to dance in the London News Years Day Parade in England.

Although the competitive dance team life kept me busy, I was able to dance for my high school, where I discovered how much I loved dancing in an exciting football and basketball stadium atmosphere.

Cheering for a school with an enormous amount of school spirit, like UA, has been a dream of mine. I consider it a huge privilege to have been selected to be a part of the Pomline, and I believe this will make my college experience unique and unforgettable.

I picked the University of Arizona because of its academic excellence, school spirit, and beautiful campus.  Living in this part of the country will be a totally different experience for me, coming from a southern upbringing. I am beyond excited to be a part of the wildcat family and all the opportunities that come with it.
