I have been dancing since I was two years old, beginning with Mommy and Me classes where I first discovered my love for movement and performance. From those early days in the studio to now, dance has been a constant and defining part of my life.
Throughout high school, I have proudly been a four year member of my Ironwood Ridge Varsity Pomline, serving as captain since my sophomore year. As captain, I have led practices, supported team unity, and helped set a standard of excellence both on and off the floor. This leadership role has strengthened my communication skills, confidence, and ability to motivate others while maintaining a strong commitment to technical growth and performance quality.
In addition to my school team, I was a founding dancer of Tucson’s first all-star dance team, Southern All-Star Spirit Squad (SASS). Being part of building a program from the ground up was an incredible experience that required dedication, resilience, and leadership. I also held leadership positions within the team, helping shape its culture and competitive vision.
I have had the honor of representing both my Varsity Pomline and SASS at their first National competitions, competing at Dance Team Union (DTU) Nationals and Worlds. Performing on a national stage pushed me to elevate my performance level, refine my technique, and embrace the intensity and professionalism required at elite competitions.
Individually, I have been selected as a placement soloist at multiple prestigious competitions, including UDA, DTU, and One Rhythm Dance Competition. These accomplishments reflect not only my technical training but also my artistry, stage presence, and dedication to continual improvement.
Dance has shaped me into a disciplined, driven, and passionate individual. Through years of training, leadership, and competition, I have developed a deep love for teamwork, performance, and the pursuit of excellence that continues to inspire my goals both inside and outside the studio.
A fun fact about me is that I ride horses in my free time because it helps clear my head in a similar way that dance does and it is a great challenge.
