Over the last 16 years I have thrived in a competitive dance environment where I have taken on many leadership roles and learned the value of being an influential community member. During my time as an elite dancer at The Element Dance Center, I have led my team to being 10-time National Grand Champions, earned Dancer of the Year nominations every season, performed and won at the Industry Dance Awards, and represented my hope studio as a Dancer Against Cancer. In addition, I have been a 4-year varsity dance team and cheer team member of Valhalla high school. I have been a team captain for three of the four years on both teams. In these programs, I led my squads to program history with multiple local champion titles as well as 2 CIF wins. These experiences shaped me the most as a dancer while I navigated rigorous AP and honors courses all while being a scholar athlete choreographing numerous routines for both teams, assisting and teaching beginning dancers, and serving as a humble role model through it all. I also had the honor of representing the USA in the tap dancing world championships for two years in Germany and the Czech Republic! This opportunity gave me a deeper understanding and love for the art of dance and lent me a chance to connect with dancers from all over the world that share the same passion that I do.
A fun fact about me is I am a trilingual speaker in English, Spanish, and Greek! Growing up immersed in my family’s culture has shaped me into the dancer and person that I am today. I love using those skills to connect with my community.
