I began dancing at the age of two before taking a break at age eight to pursue competitive cheer. After training and competing in cheer for approximately three years, I returned to dance and continued developing my skills across multiple styles and performance settings.

I danced at Townsend Junior High School for two years, serving as captain during my eighth-grade year. Following middle school, I joined the Song Team at Chino Hills High School, where I performed all four years. As a member of the team, I gained experience in both game-day performance and competitive Pom. I served as JV Captain during my sophomore year and Varsity Captain during my senior year. Throughout my time on the team, I was honored with the Hardest Working Award twice and the Most Spirited Award once.

During the summers leading into my junior and senior years, I attended USA Spirit Camp and was honored to receive the All-American Award both years. These experiences strengthened my performance abilities, leadership skills, and passion for the spirit industry.

During my senior year, I also joined my school’s competitive dance team, where I competed in Contemporary, Jazz, Pom, and Hip Hop. Competing in a variety of styles allowed me to expand my versatility as a dancer and challenge myself in new ways. At the end of the season, I was honored to receive the Most Improved Award.

A fun fact about me is in 7th grade I memorized 100 digits of pi(π).
