FAVORITE THING ABOUT BEING IN THE PRIDE OF ARIZONA : One of the best parts about being in the Pride of Arizona is the incredible sense of unity and pride it brings, both within the school and the Tucson community. Being part of this organization has not only introduced me to an amazing group of people, but it has given me the opportunity to connect deeply with the spirit of the University of Arizona and the surrounding city of Tucson. Every performance, whether on the field or at community events, becomes a chance to represent something bigger than myself. It's not just about the music or the routines; it's about the lifelong friendships, personal growth, and the honor of carrying forward the traditions and energy of such a vibrant community.

Dancing has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember! Artistic Motion Dance Company in Gilbert, Arizona was where I fell in love with dance and began training 18+ hours/week. In addition to training and competing with Artistic Motion Dance, I attended PrePro Ballet for 15+ hours/week for additional Ballet specific work. I have trained in numerous styles including Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Modern, Tap, Ballroom, Hiphop, Acro and Pom. I was part of a highly competitive travel team where we traveled across the country and competed against the best dancers in the nation. I earned many top placements and scholarships for solos, duos, and groups at regional and national competitions. While dancing at Artistic Motion Dance, I was also a member of my high school dance program, an AIA Athlete Scholar, and in the National Honors Society for Dance Arts and Academics. Sophomore year of high school I fell in love with Pom and decided to tryout for The Perry High School Pomline. Our team performed at Men’s and Women’s Basketball and Football games. I loved being in front of the crowd and performing at assemblies, assisting Little Puma Camps, and representing our school. Our team had multiple 1st place awards in Jazz, Pom and Gameday regionally/statewide with USA and UDA. I attended UDA Nationals twice, where our team placed 6th in varsity Gameday and 4th in Medium Pom. We had weekly technique with Kaitlyn Conley, attended UDA and Pro Action Summer camps, as well as taking additional classes with Danz Team Project, Sharpen Up Dance Team and many other intensives. My freshman year, I trained through College Dance Prep and made it to the interview round. Last year I trained with College Dance Prep again and made the Arizona Pomline. These past two years, dancing with the Pride of Arizona has brought me the most amazing opportunities of my life. Dancing on the sidelines of such a large university and getting to meet members of the Tucson community are experiences I will cherish forever.

Fun fact about me is I am ambidextrous!
